Job Title: Executive Director In Training

Are you ready to make a big impact, lead exciting events, and become a key player in our vibrant community? Evergreen Chamber of Commerce is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Executive Director in Training to join our team and help drive our chamber’s mission forward!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Special Events Superhero

- Partner with our current Executive Director to plan, organize, and pull off amazing events! From monthly board meetings and educational luncheons to ribbon cuttings and networking energizers, you’ll be at the heart of it all.

- Have a knack for creativity? Propose and bring new, engaging events to life that keep our chamber fresh and relevant.

📣Marketing, Promotion, and Growth Guru

- Help our chamber shine! You’ll use your social media savvy to spread the word and keep our community buzzing.

- Confident on stage and behind a mic? You’ll be the friendly face of the chamber, whether speaking at events, networking one-on-one, or chatting with local news outlets.

- Think outside the box to promote our chamber through radio, TV, and print. You’ll even explore grant opportunities to give our marketing efforts a boost!

🤝Ambassador and Member Relations Rockstar

- Lead our amazing ambassadors! Keep this volunteer team organized, engaged, and growing.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with our members. Frequent communication, in-person visits, and ensuring they receive all the benefits of membership are your top priorities. You get to be the social butterfly of the community!

- Welcome new members to our community and make sure our current members feel valued and supported.

🎯Other Adventures Await!

- Take on new challenges and assist with other duties as assigned by the chamber board or current Executive Director. No two days will be the same!

- The goal for this position is to grow into the lead Executive Director role! After learning all there is to know under direct mentorship of the current staff and board, you will move into the driver’s seat and directly manage an assistant staff member.

Your Schedule:

- Flex Time: Full-time hours ranging from 35 to 40+ per week, with flexibility to fit your life.

- Evening/Weekend: Occasionally required for special events, but we promise to keep things exciting!

What We’re Looking For:

- Valid Driver’s License and a personal vehicle (must be insured—don’t worry, we’ll remind you to renew annually).

- Exceptional communication skills—whether you’re writing, speaking, or just mingling, you know how to connect with people.

- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while still smiling.

- Social media wizard, tech-savvy, and comfortable with computers.

- Sales background – showcase what benefits of being a chamber member can offer to businesses!

- Able to lift 30 pounds (you never know when you’ll need to set up a banner or carry a few boxes of event swag!).

- Most importantly, someone who’s passionate, personable, and ready to make a difference in the Evergreen community.

Compensation:

Starting salary for the training role is $45,000 to $50,000/annually based on experience. Opportunity to increase salary when taking on the Executive Director role! Paid time off included as a benefit.
